In 2020, Beach Energy implemented SwipedOn Visitor Management System. The deployment used the SwipedOn Enterprise plan with two iPads across two locations and the Unlimited SMS AddOns package, provisioning a kiosk style iPad sign in flow and a web dashboard for centralized administration and reporting.
The implementation focused on core Physical Access Control System capabilities, including visitor sign in, email notifications, SMS notifications, and web dashboard analytics for visitor records. The solution was configured for quick setup and day to day use, with the iPad app serving as the front of house kiosk and the SwipedOn web dashboard providing access to visitor data and statistics for audit purposes, and later integrated with an ID badge printer to enforce security protocols.
Operational scope covered reception and front desk functions at two sites, directly impacting the Director of First Impressions role and reception staff workflows. Process changes moved sign in and record keeping from paper to digital, enabling SMS driven staff notifications to reach employees on mobile devices and streamlining the handoff between reception and hosting staff.
Beach Energy reported immediate operational outcomes that were visible to the front desk team, including a significant reduction in admin time per visitor and a dramatic reduction in paper usage, supporting the companys paper lite sustainability goals. The ability to pull visitor statistics quickly improved audit readiness, and the vendor aftercare and rapid support response further supported operational stability and user adoption of the SwipedOn Visitor Management System.
