Hubbell | Manufacturing | 17600 | $5.7B | United States | SailPoint Technologies | SailPoint IdentityNow | Identity and Access Management (IAM) | 2023 | n/a |
In 2023 Hubbell implemented SailPoint IdentityNow as its Identity and Access Management (IAM) platform to centralize identity lifecycle, access governance, and provisioning across the enterprise. The program included a Phase 1 $2.0M deployment and a Phase 2 $3.0M expansion, each managed through a PMO model that aligned identity initiatives with executive stakeholders and CISO reporting.
SailPoint IdentityNow deployments focused on standard Identity and Access Management (IAM) capabilities, including Joiner Mover processes to automate lifecycle events, access certification and attestation workflows, and an Application Onboarding Factory to accelerate onboarding of SOX Tier 1 applications. The implementation incorporated SailPoint ARM integration with SAP and SailPoint NERM to manage contractor identities, and delivered configurable provisioning and role engineering practices consistent with IAM governance and access review cycles.
The solution was integrated with a broad enterprise stack, using connectors and configuration for SuccessFactors HR, SAP ERP, SAP GRC ARM, Active Directory, Azure AD, Okta OIE, ServiceNow, and Cherwell, and it coordinated with Delinea PAM components and Okta SSO for federated access. Operational scope included onboarding more than 290 to 340 applications, supporting roughly 19,000 to 20,000 users, lifecycle management for 1,000 plus contractor identities, a global YubiKey FIDO2 passkey rollout to over 10,000 users, and parallel Delinea Privilege Manager Cloud workstations coverage for 11,000 plus endpoints.
Program governance used a 5 wave agile rollout plan, daily and weekly delivery assurance sessions, and weekly governance reporting to CIO, CISO, VP, and director-level stakeholders, augmented by a Gartner led NIST CSF v2 assessment. Execution was delivered by a 30 plus member global team operating onshore and offshore with vendor collaboration, resulting in a successful program turnaround and go live in eight months for the initial phase, and an Okta OIE rollout that supported 340 plus applications and 20,000 users with zero production issues.
