In 2011 Bechtle implemented SAP ERP ECC 6.0 to establish a centralized ERP Financial core while advancing its operational systems. The implementation aligned Bechtle with SAP and set the stage for a targeted initiative to modernize its central warehouse.
Bechtle selected SAP Extended Warehouse Management, SAP EWM, to modernize warehouse orchestration and extend warehouse execution capabilities within the SAP ERP ECC 6.0 environment. Configuration emphasized standard EWM capabilities including inbound and outbound process control, storage bin management, task and resource management, and integration with SAP inventory and materials management processes to maintain transactional consistency across finance and logistics functions.
The project scoped the central warehouse and adjacent supply chain and logistics functions, establishing cross functional governance between IT and logistics for operational rollout and process change. The ongoing joint innovation project between Bechtle and SAP continues the partnership and builds on the 2011 SAP ERP ECC 6.0 and SAP Extended Warehouse Management foundation.

In 2017 Bechtle implemented SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central as its Core HR system, launching a three year program to centralize employee master data and standardize HR core processes. The implementation timeline is documented as Total Duration 3 yrs, reflecting a phased adoption across HR functional areas and the HR Service Center.
SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central was configured to serve as the authoritative employee record, supporting organizational management, position management, core HR transactions, and employee self service workflows. A Team lead Human Resources & HR Service Center served as sub-project lead for SuccessFactors HR Core, with documented responsibility from April 2019 onward, indicating embedded HR subject matter leadership in configuration and process design.
Operational coverage focused on Bechtle AG human resources and the centralized HR Service Center, supporting approximately 14,840 employees and aligning Core HR processes such as hire to retire and organizational updates. The deployment emphasized consolidation of HR data and service center driven case handling, positioning SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central as the platform for HR case routing and employee record governance.
Program governance relied on a HR-led sub-project model and the HR Service Center to manage configuration control, process standardization, and rollout coordination across HR teams. Implementation governance and the sustained sub-project lead role reflect an approach that centralized decision making for Core HR configuration and operational workflows without reference to external system integrators.

In 2018, Bechtle implemented NetCracker BSS/OSS to provision a new cloud-based portal and enterprise application marketplace. NetCracker BSS/OSS was deployed in the OSS/BSS category to provide core revenue management and cloud billing capabilities that enable consumption- and subscription-based commercial models.
The implementation centered on NetCracker's cloud platform modules, including cloud billing, revenue management and a digital marketplace, configured to support orchestration and provisioning of multicloud services. NetCracker BSS/OSS supported packaging and catalog management for offerings such as network-as-a-service, backup-as-a-service, recovery-as-a-service and third-party cloud services, aligning billing events to agreement duration and actual usage.
Operational coverage targeted Bechtle's enterprise B2B customers across Europe via the portal www.bechtle-clouds.com, bringing procurement, deployment and support workflows into a single cloud marketplace. The deployment positioned platform functions within Bechtle's hosting and managed services portfolio, enabling the company to offer on-demand SaaS, PaaS and IaaS consumption models and orchestrate delivery across public and private cloud options.
Governance and process changes focused on digital marketplace transaction workflows, billing policy configuration and catalog governance to support new revenue streams and transparent invoicing. The stated outcomes included simplifying agreement, deployment and support processes and enabling Bechtle to open new revenue streams by selling and billing multicloud services through the NetCracker BSS/OSS platform in the OSS/BSS category.
