Infor Legacy Infor SunSystems ERP Financial ERP n/a 2015 2016
In 2015 Beds and Bars Group deployed Infor SunSystems as its ERP Financial platform to centralize group accounting and consolidation across the corporate finance function. The deployment covered the Group head office and 21 operating sites in the UK and Europe, including companies in the UK, France, Barcelona, Berlin and the Netherlands, with primary focus on group consolidation, statutory reporting and audit readiness. Infor SunSystems was configured to support consolidation workflows, joint venture accounting, foreign exchange conversion and intercompany balances and transactions, alongside month end close reporting and management packs. The implementation included extensive report building inside Infor SunSystems to automate month end management reports and board reporting, with quality assurance routines applied to relieve manual reconciliation and reporting steps. Operational scope extended to quarterly bank covenant reporting and the first year audit conversion to FRS 102, where the finance team used Infor SunSystems outputs to liaise with external auditors, accountants and tax advisors through final sign off of the financial statements. The project team also managed annual budgeting for head office across 12 departments, embedding budget monitoring and monthly commentary preparation into the system driven reporting cadence. Governance changes included new documented finance procedures and enhanced internal controls introduced during and after the SunSystems implementation, ongoing monitoring of those procedures to ensure HMRC compliance and reductions in the risk of future penalties. Day to day close and management reporting responsibilities were centralized through the Infor SunSystems reporting layer, with the finance function overseeing monthly management reporting and preparing summary materials for Board presentation. The program also encompassed non-core system initiatives tied to the finance function, notably project management of a UK payroll system tender and coordination with internal working groups and external parties. These activities were executed alongside system configuration and reporting automation in Infor SunSystems to create a cohesive ERP Financial operating model for Beds and Bars Group.

Zendesk Legacy Zendesk Service Customer Support CRM n/a 2019 2019
In 2019 Beds and Bars Group implemented Zendesk Service as its Customer Support platform. The deployment placed Zendesk Service on the company website to capture guest inquiries and create a centralized channel for customer communications. Configuration focused on web-embedded support workflows typical of the Customer Support category, including a public-facing help widget, centralized ticketing, a self-service knowledge base, and automated routing and SLA-based queueing. The implementation leveraged macros, triggers, and workflow rules to standardize responses and escalate issues to appropriate service teams, aligning ticket lifecycle management with operational shift patterns. Operational coverage targeted the company’s customer service and operations teams across the United Kingdom, with ticket creation originating from the website and routing into internal service queues for handling. Governance included defined support queues, role-based access to the Zendesk Service agent interface, and configuration of reporting dashboards to monitor ticket volumes and response adherence. The narrative centers on system architecture that embeds Zendesk Service into the public website as the primary customer-facing support channel, centralizes case management for guest services, and imposes standard ticketing governance and routing processes to support ongoing operations.
