In 2020, Beetroot Lab Latvia used the PickFu Platform in the Customer Experience category to conduct rapid consumer testing of app icons, character art, and marketing assets for Dystopia: Contest of Heroes, targeting U.S. app-store consumers. The PickFu Platform supported short-form audience polling workflows, Beetroot Lab executed five polls over two days to collect preference signals and accelerate creative iteration. Testing centered on visual A B comparisons for icons, character renders, and store creatives, feeding directly into asset selection and user acquisition creative choices.
Operationally the work was led by design and marketing functions within the studio, integrating poll outputs into the creative review and app store listing optimization process. Governance followed a tight rapid-test cadence with successive polls shaping final artwork for the U.S. market, and the consumer testing helped refine visuals and contributed to the game achieving 1M+ downloads and a 4.8★ store rating across app stores.
