RateLinx Legacy Ratelinx ShipLinx TMS Transportation Management SCM n/a 2018 2018
In 2018 Bell Racing Helmets implemented Ratelinx ShipLinx TMS as its Transportation Management platform. The deployment focused on shipping operations for sporting goods with routine weekly shipment values reported at up to $250,000, placing the solution at the center of the company shipping and customer account workflows. Ratelinx ShipLinx TMS was configured to manage shipment documentation and execution, explicitly supporting bill of ladings and manifest generation used by the logistics team. The implementation leveraged standard Transportation Management capabilities for carrier rate management, label and manifest production, and order to shipment orchestration to streamline outbound fulfillment and documentation workflows. Operationally the TMS operated alongside other shipping and operations tools that the logistics team used, including Excel based workflows, yard view management YMS tools, SAP, and Numina, with staff operating ShipLinx as the primary shipment orchestration interface. The platform was used across the shipping and logistics functions and within customer account management workflows to coordinate carriers and prepare commercial invoices and manifests. Governance and rollout were handled within the Bell Racing Helmets logistics organization, where a Logistics Coordinator managed several customer accounts, prepared custom documentation, and trained new team members on ShipLinx procedures. That coordinator documented manifests and bills of lading as part of daily operations and was promoted twice in under 11 months while operating the Ratelinx ShipLinx TMS environment.
