In 2013, Bentall Kennedy implemented Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne as its ERP Financial platform, deploying JD Edwards 9.1 to support core finance and real estate accounting workflows. The engagement provides day-to-day business user support for Financials including Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, General Accounting, Fixed Assets, Job Cost and Real Estate, with explicit coverage of Budgeting aREF, Manual Billing, Cash Receipts, Sales Overage and Recurring Billing.
Workstreams include report development where the team works with business stakeholders to determine criteria for new reports and report modifications and to create specifications for development. The support organization develops and executes UAT test scripts for JDE updates and upgrades, and it created an ESU review process to proactively evaluate and apply enhancements and bug fixes to Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne. The team also performs security role changes as required.
A multi-month security redesign is being executed using QSoftware to rework role mappings and segregation of duties controls within JD Edwards 9.1. Project management oversight standardizes the incident resolution process and how IT delivers issue resolution to the business, formalizing workflows between finance, property management and IT support. These governance and operational controls link UAT, ESU reviews and security role change processes to create a consistent delivery model for Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne support.
