In 2012, Benthin implemented SAP ERP ECC 6.0 as its core ERP Financial platform to support manufacturing and finance operations. SAP ERP ECC 6.0 was provisioned to consolidate transactional finance and operational workflows across the organization while retaining multi-country capabilities and multilingual support.
The implementation included a comprehensive module footprint, with FI, AA, CO, TR-CM, SD, MM, PP and HR-PA configured to handle accounts, asset accounting, controlling, treasury and cash management, sales and distribution, materials management, production planning, and personnel administration. Configuration emphasis aligned with manufacturing workflows for custom tool and automation production, and with sales and procurement processes for components and materials.
Architecture and operational coverage were explicit, the SAP system ran for approximately 100 named SAP users on IBM AS400 hardware using DB2 for OS400, and supported two production sites in Germany plus one plant in France. Country-specific versions and multilingual functionality were implemented to accommodate cross-border operations and regional legal reporting and master data requirements.
CAS Concepts and Solutions acted as the introduction implementation partner during rollout, and All for One Group is recorded as the SI/VAR associated with the reference. The SAP ERP ECC 6.0 deployment documentation notes the system in productive use since earlier releases, and governance covered centralized finance and controlling processes with integrated sales, procurement, production planning and HR personnel administration modules.
