Oracle Legacy Oracle Cloud ERP ERP Financial ERP n/a 2010 2010
In 2010, Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices implemented Oracle Cloud ERP to consolidate finance and transaction processes across its national network of affiliated brokerages, mortgage, title, escrow and insurance companies. The deployment used Oracle Enterprise Resource Planning Cloud alongside Oracle Customer Experience Cloud and Oracle Cloud Platform to serve as the ERP Financial backbone for HomeServices of America and its affiliated brands and agents. The implementation configured Oracle Cloud ERP to centralize core financials, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, procurement and revenue accounting, while embedding document process automation and guided transaction qualification workflows. Oracle Cloud ERP was positioned to provide standard financial and accounting workflows typical of ERP Financial deployments, supporting automated approvals and unified financial reporting across corporate and franchise entities. Integrations focused on connecting ERP Financial processes with Oracle Customer Experience Cloud and the Oracle Cloud Platform to enable end to end transaction orchestration and secure document management, replacing disparate on premise systems with a unified cloud application suite. The operational scope encompassed HomeServices of America and its nearly 44,000 real estate agents, aiming to standardize configurations and operational controls across affiliated companies and regions. Governance and operating model changes emphasized platform standardization, process harmonization and centralized configuration governance to enable faster adoption of new capabilities across the network. The program explicitly sought to streamline timely qualification and document processes, save time and money by moving from disparate on premise systems to a complete cloud suite, and position the organization to implement evolving technologies while delivering connected real estate experiences.
