In 2016, BILSTEIN of America US engaged Strabo Partners to implement Strabo Cellacore Ecommerce to power its North American aftermarket online product catalog and customer ordering portal. The project began in 2016 and went live in Q2 2017, establishing a centralized eCommerce product hub for dealers and consumers.
Strabo Cellacore Ecommerce was configured as a Product Desk implementation, centralizing product data as an eCommerce/PIM layer, fitment data using ACES and PIES standards, and digital asset management. Core functional capabilities implemented included online product catalog management, fitment driven part lookup, enhanced product search, and customer ordering workflows.
The implementation concentrated operational coverage on the North American aftermarket, unifying product, fitment and digital asset records into a single authoritative catalog to support dealer portals and consumer storefront access. Integrations emphasized standardized fitment formats ACES and PIES to ensure accurate part matching across channels, with the catalog serving as the source for order capture and channel sales functions.
Strabo Partners led a phased rollout through 2016 into Q2 2017, with governance focused on catalog data stewardship and fitment validation processes to maintain ACES and PIES compliance. The go live improved product search and dealer and consumer access to correct parts.
