| FIS Global | Legacy | FIS GETPAID | AR Automation | ERP | n/a | 2005 | 2005 |
In 2005, Birch implemented FIS GETPAID to establish AR Automation for its accounts receivable operations across the firm. The deployment was executed for a 1,400 employee professional services environment and positioned FIS GETPAID as the core invoice presentment, payment processing, cash application, and collections orchestration layer.
The FIS GETPAID implementation was configured to interoperate with existing application stacks, including Microsoft Dynamics SL for financial ledger posting and customer master synchronization, and SQL Server 2005 as the underlying relational datastore. Document management and collaboration workflows were tied into SharePoint, and time and labor inputs from NetTime were surfaced into receivables workflows to support billing accuracy.
Operational deployment ran on Windows server infrastructure and on highly virtualized hosts, with support and maintenance spanning desktops and mobile devices. Birch supported over 80 VMware virtualized servers across multiple ESX hosts, managed backups and restores through Veritas NetBackup, and operated within an Active Directory environment that included participation in a domain merger and Blackberry Enterprise server device management.
Governance for the FIS GETPAID implementation followed standard application support and datacenter procedures, including vendor support coordination, server racking and cabling, backup and restore processes, and incident ownership by the IT operations team. FIS GETPAID was textured into Birch business functions by connecting AR Automation workflows to payroll and billing adjacent systems such as local ADP server client software and hosted ILEC and CLEC web applications where relevant.

| Oracle | Legacy | Oracle PeopleSoft HCM | Core HR | HCM | n/a | 2016 | 2018 |
In 2016, Birch implemented Oracle PeopleSoft HCM as its Core HR application. The implementation sits within a broader PeopleSoft estate that includes Oracle PeopleSoft FSCM and the PeopleSoft Portal, all supported on an Oracle database running on Unix, specifically AIX.
The Oracle PeopleSoft HCM deployment delivers core HR capabilities including employee records, payroll processing, benefits administration and workforce management, reflecting standard Core HR functional modules. Configuration work focused on aligning HCM workflows with the PeopleSoft Portal and shared data models used across FSCM and HCM.
Operational architecture is centralized, with PeopleSoft application tiers managed alongside an Oracle relational database and AIX system administration, enabling consolidated application, database and OS administration. Support and administration responsibilities cover FSCM, HCM and Portal environments, and include coordinated release management, patching and environment provisioning across HR and finance functions.
Governance and operational ownership are handled by Birch IT and application operations teams who administer PeopleSoft security and role provisioning, batch scheduling, Oracle DBA tasks, AIX system maintenance and PeopleSoft application maintenance. These activities sustain Core HR and adjacent finance processes through ongoing configuration management and technical support.
