Microsoft Legacy Microsoft Dynamics GP HR Core HR HCM n/a 2007 2007
In 2007, Bisk implemented Microsoft Dynamics GP HR to centralize Core HR functionality for its Bisk Education operations in Tampa, FL. The program was executed within a multi-quarter timetable spanning July 2006 through February 2007 and managed quarterly releases of Dynamics GP alongside custom CRM and ERP applications. Project management and business analysis work for Microsoft Dynamics GP HR focused on scope definition, user permissions, application configuration and data accumulation. Release schedules, project plans, status updates and deployment plans were used to compile staffing needs, task and milestone timelines, and team member responsibilities to control configuration and cutover activities. The implementation included integration and testing between Microsoft Dynamics GP HR and the organization’s custom CRM, sales and reporting systems to provide end-to-end operational continuity. Operational coverage addressed HR and sales reporting functions at the Tampa site and associated administrative units, and the project team analyzed processes and systems to recommend changes aimed at increasing operational efficiency.

Microsoft Legacy Microsoft Power BI Analytics and BI Analytics and BI n/a 2017 2018
In 2017, Bisk implemented Microsoft Power BI to establish an enterprise reporting and analytics layer. The Microsoft Power BI deployment was positioned to meet Analytics and BI needs across the organization, consolidating disparate operational data into a single reporting fabric. The implementation centered on creating governed dashboards, semantic data models, self-service reporting, and operational reports. Informatica was used as the ETL and data transformation engine feeding Power BI datasets, with Great Plains GP, ADP, Salesforce, and TFS identified as primary transactional sources for reporting and analysis. Integrations with Salesforce, TFS, ADP, Great Plains GP and Informatica enabled cross-functional analytics covering Sales, Finance, HR, and IT functions. Typical analytic workflows included pipeline and CRM reporting from Salesforce, financial close and GL reporting from Great Plains GP, payroll and workforce analytics from ADP, and development and delivery metrics from TFS, all surfaced through Microsoft Power BI dashboards and reports. Governance emphasized centralized dataset management and role based access controls, with IT and business analysts owning semantic models and report lineage. Rollout sequencing prioritized core finance and sales reporting before broader self-service access, while Informatica orchestrated scheduled data refreshes into Microsoft Power BI for operational reporting and ad hoc analysis.
