In 2021, Blair Academy implemented GC Volunteer Management from GiveCampus as part of a suite that also included GC Online Giving and GC Events to support fundraising for scholarships, athletic teams, and the Blair Fund. The deployment focused on improving donor experience and volunteer coordination for a 200 employee, day and boarding school operating in the United States, aligning Volunteer Management with development, alumni engagement, and events functions.
GC Volunteer Management was configured to support campaign segmentation and volunteer workflows, enabling personalized campaigns and targeted outreach. Blair Academy tailored campaign logic to exclude young alumni who are not yet in the workforce from corporate matching prompts, and it used automated matching workflows to streamline identification and processing of match-eligible donors, consistent with Volunteer Management functional practices.
The implementation included a recorded integration with 360MatchPro to automate corporate gift matching and surface match-eligible donors. Governance emphasized centralized campaign configuration and segmentation rules within the development office, with campaign-level controls applied to initiatives such as the Clash of the Classes page. Matching gift revenue increased 32 percent in the first year of the integration, generating $303,601 in matching dollars that may not otherwise have been identified, and online revenue reached $1.5M, nearly double from 2021.
