In 2016, Blue Apron implemented ADP Workforce Now as part of its Core HR environment. The HR organization had earlier led implementations of Oracle Fusion HCM for Core HR and Benefits and Taleo Enterprise Edition for Recruiting and Onboarding, which established electronic onboarding and automated approval workflows.
ADP Workforce Now was configured to centralize Core HR records and to support payroll and timekeeping integrations. The implementation work included configuration of Core HR data structures, benefits administration alignment with existing HR processes, and provisions for employee stock record maintenance as part of HR operations.
The program included development and testing of integrations to benefit vendors and to Kronos for payroll and timekeeping, and HR led a transition with Payroll off Kronos HRPR into ADP Workforce Now. Operational coverage for the deployment spanned HR, Payroll, Recruiting, and Benefits teams, and the technical scope encompassed data exchanges between ADP Workforce Now, Kronos timekeeping, and external benefits vendors.
Governance and process changes included replacing paper onboarding forms with electronic onboarding, implementing system workflows and approvals to replace manual processes, and conducting a mass data audit for employee stock records. The benefits team managed a broker and vendor transition that produced a stated cost savings of more than 350000 dollars, and HR maintained ongoing stock administration and support for employee option exercises.
