The implementation also supported the operational move of physical warehouses to 3PL third party logistics, with material movements managed by the external warehouse provider.
Governance and data migration were addressed through blueprint documentation and controlled master data loads. The team prepared blueprints for each interface, configured EDI partner profiles and message control, and used LSMW to upload customer master data, credit master data, condition master data and partner profiles for IDoc processing, establishing a repeatable governance approach for master data and interface operations.
