In 2014 BoConcept implemented Keyshot Dock (ex Digizuite) as its Digital Asset Management solution to centralize the photo-flow and image lifecycle for photography and styling operations. The implementation was explicitly focused on managing booking workflows for photographers and stylists, coordinating participation in shoots, and providing follow-up and tracking of images through the DAM. This establishes the relationship BoConcept Keyshot Dock (ex Digizuite) Digital Asset Management functions supporting creative production and asset lifecycle management.
Keyshot Dock (ex Digizuite) was configured to support ingestion of shoot assets, cataloging and metadata capture, workflow orchestration for shoot approvals, and asset follow-up processes aligned with studio operations. Operational terminology implemented included photo booking, shoot participation tracking, image validation and follow-up workflows, reflecting standard Digital Asset Management capabilities for creative production coordination. The system was used day to day by staff responsible for photo production and image handoff.
Governance and process changes centered on shifting manual coordination into the DAM workflows, with the implementation team participating in shoots and configuring the IT workflows to match studio processes. When the Keyshot Dock (ex Digizuite) environment reached operational maturity it ran autonomously, and the role responsible for managing the photo-flow and follow-up was made redundant, resulting in termination of that position as stated in the source notes.
