The DycoTrade suite is fully integrated with Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations, and the project has required handling platform changes introduced by Microsoft, creating a dependency between the solution and Microsoft platform updates. Governance and rollout planning reflect a multi-phase, longer duration project due to the global scale and complexity across Boliden’s mining, smelting, production and trading operations. The schedule provides windows for continuous development and enhancement of DycoTrade software and platform-level adjustments in cooperation with Microsoft and the Nordic partner, with DycoTrade focused on domain-specific configuration and knowledge transfer to Boliden’s operational teams.
