| Docebo | Legacy | Docebo LMS | Learning and Development | HCM | n/a | 2015 | 2015 |
In 2015, Boosterthon implemented Docebo LMS for Learning and Development to address an existing learning solution that was bulky, overly formal, and poorly aligned with collaborative and social learning goals. The initiative was driven by a need to increase learner engagement by shifting from formal delivery to social, gamified, and user-driven content formats.
Boosterthon launched Docebo Learn alongside Docebo Coach & Share to deliver both formal courses and social learning channels, and configured gamification elements and an intuitive UI to appeal to a younger workforce. The deployment emphasized simple configuration, channel-based content organization, and the Coach & Share module for user-generated content and peer-to-peer interactions, while leveraging Docebo’s Single-Sign On capability to streamline access.
Operationally the platform was provisioned for internal training across the organization and scaled to support more than 500 employees, with team leads designated as Power Users who centralize and curate formal and informal learning assets. Channels were used to address market-specific needs and to give teams a place to upload and distribute relevant content, while Power Users customized training assignments for their teams.
Governance was restructured to include middle managers and team leads in content review and quality control, converting learning into a business culture activity rather than a top-down task. Reported outcomes in the case study include performance and engagement improvements, democratization of learning with consistent monthly active usage around 250 users, and a roadmap to expand use of learning plans and video-based interactive webinars within the Docebo LMS.
