| SAP | Legacy | SAP S/4 HANA Credit Management (FIN-FSCM-CR) | Credit Union Management | ERP Services and Operations | n/a | 2018 | 2019 |
In 2018 Borouge implemented SAP S/4 HANA Credit Management (FIN-FSCM-CR) as part of a Credit Union Management effort to strengthen Order-To-Cash controls and credit governance. The SAP S/4 HANA Credit Management (FIN-FSCM-CR) implementation was executed through targeted proof of concept work on S/4 HANA 1809 capabilities to validate core FSCM credit workflows.
The technical scope included FSCM Credit Management modules, Condition Contract and Settlement Management for rebate processes, Business Partners configuration, and Output Management implemented using BRF+. Work focused on functional configuration and Level 5 business process documentation for the Order-To-Cash lifecycle, with subject matter experts producing detailed process artifacts and business requirement analysis.
Operational integration centered on SAP SD Order-To-Cash functionality, embedding credit checks and exposure controls into sales order processing and coordinating with receivables workflows. Implementation activities were executed within the OTC team in Abu Dhabi, aligning credit management configuration with distribution business functions and sales order fulfillment processes.
Governance followed a structured rollout preparation model, including Level 5 requirements capture, SME led proof of concept testing, and business process handover documentation to support subsequent S/4 HANA program phases. The narrative emphasizes configuration, process documentation, and POC validation rather than vendor or partner driven statements.
