Integration work centered on connecting the OpenAI Agents SDK agents to Box content search APIs and enforcing Box access controls so document-level permissions and security policies are respected during queries. Operational coverage concentrated on knowledge management and customer-facing functions, where richer, context-aware responses to user queries were the primary objective.
Governance and rollout prioritized rapid prototyping and controlled experimentation, agents were created in days to accelerate iteration and validation. The implementation enabled rapid prototyping and surfaced richer, context-aware answers for customers while maintaining Box security and permission constraints.
