In 2018, BPD Netherlands deployed Entrust Signhost for Digital Signing on its public website. The deployment positioned Entrust Signhost as the primary web signature capture mechanism for BPD Netherlands, handling online signature collection for customer facing documents related to property sales, project agreements, and partner contracts.
The Entrust Signhost implementation used web embedded signing flows and template driven document workflows, enabling structured signature sequencing, signer authentication options, and persistent audit trail capture. Entrust Signhost was configured to manage document upload, signature field placement, and reusable signature templates to standardize digital signing steps across use cases.
Integration work focused on embedding Entrust Signhost into the BPD website experience, using web based session orchestration to initiate signing flows directly from online forms and portals. The implementation connected signing sessions to existing document storage and records processes, enabling signed documents to be retained alongside project records and customer files.
Operational governance combined IT, legal, and records teams to define authentication levels, retention policy, and auditability for web based signatures, aligning signing workflows with organizational compliance requirements. Rollout emphasized consistent routing and template governance to ensure signature validity and repeatable execution across customer facing channels, while keeping the Entrust Signhost service as the centralized Digital Signing capability.
