In 2013, Brake Group implemented SAP Business Suite as an ERP Financial solution. The implementation was managed at the Business Intelligence division level for Brake France, with project management focused on BI projects built using PL/SQL, VBA and OBIEE technologies.
The SAP Business Suite deployment included functional development work in SAP FI, CO and SD, delivered by SAP ABAP developers to extend financial accounting, controlling and sales order processes. The BI layer was delivered using OBIEE 10G and 11G, including installation, administration, configuration, repository (rpd) implementation and production report development to surface transactional data from SAP Business Suite.
Operational support and runbook activities were handled through GLPI and VTOM for support and scheduling, providing ongoing operations for the BI reporting and SAP application components. Governance and delivery were centralized within the Business Intelligence division, aligning BI project management, report production and SAP ABAP development streams.
The program linked SAP Business Suite ERP Financial functionality with an OBIEE reporting platform and custom ABAP enhancements in FI, CO and SD, creating an integrated operational footprint across finance and sales business functions within Brake France.
