Functional coverage included billing and receivables coordination for polyethylene sales, inventory and warehouse management to support repacking and tactical deployment, and support for demand planning tied to UTEC-1 production at the Gulf Coast site.
Operational integrations focused on process alignment between commercial, supply chain, and IT teams, with Sales Support acting as the primary bridge for system issue triage, solution sharing, and logging occurrences for benchmarking. The implementation supported cross-border export and import processes with Braskem IDESA, and regular meetings and go-live preparations in Mexico City and onsite visits were used to streamline order-to-cash lifecycles across business units.
Governance for the SAP ERP ECC 6.0 rollout included documenting new procedures, updating existing work instructions, and revising training manuals, with internal subject matter specialists providing ongoing training and supporting go-live activities. In 2018 Braskem America implemented Greenhouse ATS as its Applicant Tracking System to centralize Talent Acquisition across the United States and Brazil. Greenhouse ATS is used for full life cycle recruitment and candidate management, supporting recruiting, hiring, onboarding and related HR coordination for industrial and non industrial roles.
The Greenhouse ATS configuration focused on requisition and candidate tracking, interview scheduling, offer letter generation, and handoffs to onboarding. Recruiters used Greenhouse ATS to manage between 50 and 70 open requisitions concurrently and to coordinate interviews for over 50 hiring leaders across multiple states, while supporting the Braskem Summer Internship program that sourced more than 400 resumes and onboarded 28 interns.
Greenhouse ATS was integrated operationally with a set of recruitment and HR systems and service providers. Job distribution to Indeed and LinkedIn, interview and site visit coordination through Microsoft Teams, travel booking and candidate travel reimbursements via Concur SAP, background checks through Justifacts and HireRight, pre employment medical and drug testing scheduling with third party facilities including Alliance, CHR, Concentra, DOW Health Services and WorkNet Occupational Health, and onboarding handoffs into BeUx and Oracle were all part of the end to end workflow. The recruiting process also coordinated with NES Fircroft staffing for intern payroll profiles and SAP invoicing for payroll related processing.
Governance and process changes centered on structured intake meetings, creation of recruitment and interview plans, management of job descriptions and salary grading, weekly staffing reports tracking hires and cost per hire, and sensitive data handling practices. The implementation supported process improvement initiatives that explicitly reduced time to fill by 15 percent and standardized candidate lifecycle steps from sourcing through offer initiation and onboarding within Greenhouse ATS.
