Data migration activities were executed alongside interface development to ensure transactional continuity for retail stores and warehouse operations. Operational scope spanned procurement, finance, supply chain and retail operations across Canada, with rollout governed by staged cutover and data validation processes. The implementation integrated with inventory systems SAP IM and SAP EWM to align stock and order data with route plans, and with the GEOTAB GPS system to update vehicle assignments and track route execution. Operational workflows also connected to a Ticket Management System and an Internal Management Ticket System for customer inquiries and exception handling, and planning teams coordinated with Cross Docks and a defined customer base that included Licensees, LCBO, The Beer Store, Empty Bottle Dealers, Retail Partners, Grocery and Brewery orders. Operational governance defined daily review of truck lists, customer groupings and early or late calls, while Logistics Supervisors at the Beer Store DC warehouse maintained responsibility for procurement, maintenance, distribution and replacement planning to ensure item availability. Planners were required to monitor ticket queues, produce detailed communications such as ODR supplies reports, Load Delays and Assembly Error Tracking, and to assess and escalate potential risks or losses to Supervisors or Managers.
