A local API labeled GEX was tested and used to connect mobile store purchasing to SAP, and a separate API was developed to connect SAP EWM to a warehouse user interface, enabling warehouse movement orchestration through the EWM integration layer. Governance and operational readiness emphasized IT business partner involvement, coordination between Frontoffice and Backoffice teams, key user training, and structured UAT sessions. Post go-live support responsibilities were defined at L2, including ongoing testing and functional support for Purchasing, Supply Chain, warehouse operations, store ordering interfaces, and finance within the SAP S/4 HANA ERP Financial environment.
