In 2017 ButcherBox implemented Oracle NetSuite ERP as its ERP Financial system. A NetSuite Developer was solely responsible for implementing the Oracle NetSuite ERP solution from scratch and owned CRM, Order and Inventory Management configuration and delivery.
The implementation concentrated on core CRM capabilities together with Order Management and Inventory Management modules, configuring order lifecycle workflows, customer records and inventory allocation logic. The NetSuite Developer configured record types, custom fields, saved searches and transaction workflows aligned to order-to-cash and fulfillment processes, embedding automation within the Order Management and Inventory Management functional areas.
Deployment used Oracle NetSuite ERP native cloud architecture, with the implementation scoped to support sales, operations, fulfillment and finance functions across the ButcherBox organization. Governance was established through role based access, configuration change control and operational handover to cross functional owners, with the implementing developer serving as single point of configuration authority during rollout.
