In 2015 CAA Club Group implemented SAP ERP ECC 6.0 as its ERP Financial platform to centralize financial and payment processing workflows across membership and customer service functions. The deployment was aligned with SAP CRM capabilities and focused on integrating payments, billing interfaces, and membership data ingestion into the SAP ERP ECC 6.0 environment.
Functional configuration emphasized payment processing and financial document handling, including credit card payment and refund workflows, independent refund processing and SAP cheque payment development. The implementation included development and configuration work to support monthly membership automatic upload with Moneris payment authorization, and training on SAP Adobe Form development to standardize document outputs.
The SAP ERP ECC 6.0 implementation incorporated multiple system integrations explicitly referenced in project artifacts, including Moneris eSelect for credit card payments, a Moneris Cockpit surfaced via Web Dypro for transaction monitoring, configuration of Moneris pin pad using the Moneris .NET API, a real time interface between Itelligence POS and NIS, and connections to Guidewise Policy center,Billing center and Travel and Emergency Road Side Assistance systems. Operational coverage spanned membership management, point of sale payment capture, billing workflows and roadside assistance transaction flows.
Governance and sustainment were delivered through in-house SAP ABAP and .NET development capabilities, with named responsibilities for interface development, monitoring and monthly automated uploads. The program maintained coexistence with QlikView and Tableau while consolidating data feeds, and SAP acted as an upstream transactional source. Custom integration and automation used C# .Net and Visual Studio 2010 with source control and release management handled through TFS.
Governance and delivery were organized around a BI development lifecycle, using TFS for versioning and release management and role based access controls for report publishing. Scheduled ETL and refresh windows were aligned to operational reporting cycles, and the rollout covered enterprise business functions across CAA Club Group’s Canadian insurance operations.
