In 2018, Cahill Transport implemented Fusion5 MyWorkplace to centralize Workforce Management for the family owned transport and logistics provider operating depots in all major cities across Australia. The Fusion5 MyWorkplace deployment was scoped to support a weekly pay cycle for over 300 employees and to formalize HR and payroll workflows at Head Office Laverton North, covering new starter setup, ongoing employee record maintenance, manual timesheet entry, and end of year reconciliation.
The implementation configured core Workforce Management capabilities including payroll processing, time and attendance handling, payroll query workflows, statutory reporting and monthly superannuation processing. Operational integration points and processes explicitly supported by the deployment included preparation of superannuation payments through a clearing house, EFT payment runs, PAYG weekly payments and WorkCover processing, with governance centered on payroll officer execution of weekly cycles, adherence to award interpretation and statutory requirements, and cross-functional support for ad hoc projects and monthly reporting.
