In 2014, Cambridge Associates implemented Infor Lawson as its ERP Financial platform to support core finance functions across the firm. The Infor Lawson deployment targeted finance operations and general ledger processing for a global investment firm with approximately 1,400 employees, establishing a dedicated financial application footprint under the ERP Financial category. The implementation focused on Infor Lawson General Ledger capabilities, with explicit configuration and rollout of cost allocation processes to support multi-entity accounting. Workday Legacy Workday HCM Core HR HCM n/a 2014 2015
In 2014, Cambridge Associates implemented Workday HCM as a global initiative to centralize HR processes and establish a single Core HR platform. The program was led by the Director, Workday HCM Lead and organized across multiple work streams to align people, process and system ownership toward a unified HR system. Workday HCM was configured to cover Core HR, Benefits, Absence Management and Advanced Compensation modules, with design workstreams addressing security model, business process configuration and role based workflows. The implementation followed a documented business case for ERP investment in Workday HCM and Financials and included detailed configuration and testing cycles to support HR and compensation workflows. The project required coordination and integration planning with the firms existing HR, payroll and finance estate, including Lawson HR & Financials, ADP Workforce Now & GLI and a portfolio of custom built solutions, and it coincided with vendor selection activity for an equity tracking solution via Solium Shareworks. Operational coverage spanned HR, Payroll and Finance functions and was executed as a global rollout across Cambridge Associates administrative systems. Governance was run through the Head of Administrative Business Systems and the Workday HCM Lead, leveraging several implementation partners across the program work streams to manage scope and change. The initiative delivered measurable process improvements in support of Core HR, Benefits, Absence Management and Advanced Compensation and was coordinated alongside parallel projects such as the payroll upgrade to ADP Workforce Now and GLI and a business intelligence discovery effort.
