F1 Solutions Legacy OmniStar Grant Management Grant Management ERP Services and Operations n/a 2018 2018
In 2018, Cancer Institute New South Wales implemented OmniStar Grant Management to consolidate disparate grant and project management systems across its research funding portfolio in New South Wales. The SaaS deployment centralized tens of thousands of grant and project records and introduced SmartForm-based applications to improve visibility, reporting and compliance for research funding administration. OmniStar Grant Management was configured to deliver SmartForm application intake, configurable data models for grant and project records, workflow automation for approvals and consolidated reporting capabilities. The implementation emphasized standardized intake and approval workflows, configurable form-driven data capture and built-in compliance reporting consistent with Grant Management functional patterns. Operational scope covered the Institute's research funding portfolio across NSW, bringing grant application intake, peer review orchestration and post-award project tracking into a single system of record. The deployment focused on centralizing project and grant metadata to enable consistent reporting and oversight across funding programs. Governance shifted toward form-driven intake and centralized reporting to support compliance and visibility for research fund administration. OmniStar Grant Management enabled the Institute to standardize processes and consolidate records while providing a unified Grant Management platform for ongoing portfolio oversight.
