In 2017 Capital Region Medical Center implemented Infor CloudSuite Healthcare as its Healthcare ERP to unify operational and clinical information across the medical center and its affiliate University of Missouri Health Care. The deployment included Infor CloudSuite Healthcare and Infor Cloverleaf Clinical Bridge to provide a cloud native suite that connects business and clinical systems while supporting the hospital's rollout of a new electronic health records system.
The implementation focused on core Healthcare ERP capabilities, configured to support financial management, revenue cycle operations, supply chain and procurement workflows, and workforce administration. Infor CloudSuite Healthcare was configured to surface operational data alongside clinical events, enabling order to cash and procure to pay workflows to reference clinical status and scheduling data for more coordinated operational decision making.
Integration architecture centered on the Infor Cloverleaf Clinical Bridge as the clinical messaging and data exchange layer, linking the new EHR and disparate departmental systems to the CloudSuite applications. The solution covered clinical operations, finance, supply chain, revenue cycle, and IT systems, creating a single operational fabric that reduced manual reconciliation between administrative and clinical systems.
Governance and rollout emphasized cross functional clinical and administrative ownership, with phased integration to onboard the EHR feeds and operational modules. Capital Region Medical Center selected Infor for the depth and breadth of platform functionality, and the project was positioned to increase operational efficiencies and improve patient outcomes as stated by the organization.
