AdvancedAdvT Legacy Capita Workforce Management Workforce Management HCM n/a 2009 2009
In 2009 Capricorn Automotive implemented Capita Workforce Management following a 2008 selection and purchase process that targeted an integrated workforce solution for the company’s roughly 50 staff. The deployment of Capita Workforce Management was positioned as the chosen Workforce Management application after an evaluation that emphasized intelligent timekeeping, HR functionality, and integrated access control. The implementation delivered an integrated Intelligent Time, HR and Access Control system, with configuration work to tailor time and attendance rules, HR records handling, and site access workflows to Capricorn Automotive’s precise requirements. Capita Workforce Management was configured to support core time and attendance processing, employee record management, and physical access control functions, reflecting typical Workforce Management functional modules. Operationally the system covered site-level workforce administration at Capricorn’s main facility and was adopted by HR and operations as a primary tool for attendance and access control. A year after purchase and implementation Capricorn Automotive expanded into a larger site at its current Basingstoke location and extended the Capita Workforce Management footprint through the acquisition of additional hardware and software services. The Time and Attendance functionality became an embedded part of organizational practice and was used to scale workforce controls as the site expanded.

onWebChat Legacy onWebChat Chatbots and Conversational AI AI-Powered Application n/a 2020 2020
In 2020, Capricorn Automotive deployed onWebChat on its public website. onWebChat is a Chatbots and Conversational AI implementation delivered as a client-side web chat widget paired with a cloud-hosted conversational engine, providing automated conversational flows, FAQ handling, and lead capture on the dealer site. Operational coverage is the company website serving United Kingdom customers, with configuration and content management performed by internal marketing and customer support staff through onWebChat administration tools. Governance emphasized lightweight operational controls for conversational content and flow updates rather than extensive workflow reengineering, and the deployment was kept as a web-embedded module without named backend system integrations, positioning Capricorn Automotive onWebChat Chatbots and Conversational AI to support online customer engagement, lead capture, and first line service interactions across its digital storefront.
