In 2018 Carrier Midea India implemented KEKA Payroll as its centralized Payroll application to manage employee compensation and statutory compliance for its Gurgaon HR site. KEKA Payroll served as the primary Payroll system for salary computation, statutory calculations and payroll reporting for more than 400 employees in the local workforce.
The implementation used KEKA Payroll modules for salary sheet preparation and automated payroll calculation, Provident Fund and ESIC computation with online challan workflows, and attendance and leave management in the HRIS. HR operations also ran onboarding and exit formalities, full and final settlements, and end to end recruitment workflows for mid management level hires through KEKA Payroll related processes. MIS and payroll reporting were produced through KEKA Payroll outputs complemented by Excel based reporting using advanced formulas.
The deployment covered HR and payroll operations in Gurgaon, Haryana within Carrier Midea India, a 53,000 employee manufacturing company, concentrating Payroll activities and statutory filings at the site level. Payroll runs and statutory filing workflows were organized around PF and ESIC statutory processes configured within KEKA Payroll.
Operational governance placed HR executives in charge of salary sheet preparation, statutory calculation uploads, employee grievance handling and vendor management, indicating centralized HR ownership of payroll processes. KEKA Payroll was used to instrument payroll compliance and routine HR workflows including MIS generation, vendor interactions and statutory returns, supporting ongoing statutory and compliance responsibilities.
