SAP Legacy SAP S/4 HANA ERP Financial ERP Financial Management Arete Consulting 2019 2020
In 2019, CBN Logistics implemented SAP S/4 HANA as its core ERP Financial platform. The program was executed as an end to end SAP S/4 HANA transformation led by an SAP Project Manager and delivered with Arete Consulting as the systems integrator, covering planning through go live for finance, logistics, and HR process domains. The implementation deployed SAP S/4 HANA alongside Transportation Management TM, FSPER, HR, BW analytics, Solution Manager SolMan, Fiori user experience, and PI/PO middleware. Configuration work centered on core financial management capabilities aligned with the ERP Financial category, transportation execution and planning workflows in TM, HR record and payroll interfacing, and BW based reporting and analytics driven from S/4 HANA ledger and logistics data. PI/PO was used as the integration backbone to orchestrate data flows between SAP S/4 HANA and peripheral systems, while SolMan provided application lifecycle and change control for the SAP landscape. Fiori was provisioned to standardize end user interaction across finance and operations, and BW was implemented to centralize reporting and data warehousing for analytical consumption. Governance and rollout were structured around centralized SAP project management, with SolMan processes for change request handling and cutover coordination. The deployment targeted company operational functions across CBN Logistics, linking SAP S/4 HANA ERP Financial capabilities to transportation, finance, and HR business functions without reference to specific prior systems.
