In 2011, CBRE Australia deployed Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne to support ERP Financial operations for its Australia and New Zealand finance function, with particular operational focus on major managed accounts such as Nestle. The deployment centered on controlling client real estate finance, ensuring accurate Balance Sheet and P&L accounting, and standardizing the production of monthly and ad hoc client reports within the JD Edwards environment.
Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne was configured to support core financial modules including general ledger, accounts receivable and client billing, accounts payable and vendor payment workflows, budgeting and forecasting, cash management, and financial reporting. Configurations emphasized automated accrual posting, month to date and year to date variance analysis, reconciliations, and invoice generation to align with client reporting formats and timetables.
The implementation integrated multiple upstream and downstream finance processes with JD Edwards by managing the integrated systems that feed financial data into the ERP, and by coordinating invoice preparation and distribution with local corporate finance. Operational coverage explicitly included the regional Finance Manager role for Australia and New Zealand, client liaison responsibilities, and portfolio-level budget creation and monitoring for named accounts.
Governance and process changes were instituted to enforce the client corporate financial timetable, standardize reconciliation and forecast cycles, and formalize the production and delivery of financial information to the client. Workflow changes included formal variance analysis routines, cash flow analysis and accrual reviews, and enhanced client reporting templates maintained inside Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne to improve transparency and decision making.
Outcomes documented in the operating notes tie directly to the JD Edwards driven control environment, including identification and adjustment of 2 million dollars of unreconciled client billing, preparation of cash flows to support business strategy, enhancement of client reports, contribution to more than 4 million dollars of savings, attainment of 100 percent of financial KPIs with the client, and a satisfactory internal finance audit result.

| Oracle | Legacy | Oracle PeopleSoft Absence Management | Absence and Leave Management | HCM | n/a | 2018 | 2018 |
In 2018 CBRE Australia implemented Oracle PeopleSoft Absence Management as a central Absence and Leave Management solution to support its global People Systems footprint. The deployment was positioned as part of a global enterprise platform supporting APAC, EMEA and Americas business units with operational coordination out of Sydney and broader ANZ coverage for local HR support.
The implementation focused on PeopleSoft HCM module configuration, specifically Core HR integration points and Oracle PeopleSoft Absence Management functionality. Configuration workstreams addressed standard absence workflows, entitlement and accrual rules, approval routing, absence balances and reporting capabilities consistent with Absence and Leave Management practices. The People Systems team emphasized solution design, configuration governance and iterative enhancements driven by HR business user requirements.
Integrations were planned and executed with adjacent HR and IT systems identified in the program brief, including recruiting systems such as Avature and Taleo, document management via OpenText, and time and attendance systems including Kronos and ADP technology. IT service management and delivery tooling for support and delivery used ServiceNow and JIRA as part of the operational tooling set. These integrations created cross functional touch points between People Operations, Talent Acquisition and HR business users for end to end absence processing.
Governance was organized through collaboration between the global People Systems team, local People Operations and Talent Acquisition communities, with prioritization, development and support activities managed via Agile practices and ITSM ticketing. The People Systems Analyst role provided ongoing analysis of People Services, process design and release prioritization, ensuring configuration changes followed formal change control and stakeholder sign off. Risk awareness and mitigation planning were explicit parts of the operating model, reflecting an emphasis on anticipating complex HRIS issues and maintaining continuity of absence administration.
CBRE Australia Oracle PeopleSoft Absence Management served the business function of Absence and Leave Management by centralizing absence workflows, integrating core HR data and connecting recruiting, document management and time and attendance systems to support HR operations across regions.
