In 2011, CDF Capital implemented Finastra Phoenix EFE as its Core Banking platform. The deployment established Finastra Phoenix EFE as the primary loan servicing and portfolio management engine for the 50 employee community financial institution, centralizing loan lifecycle functions under a single Core Banking application.
Finastra Phoenix EFE was configured to support core loan servicing capabilities, including loan booking, scheduled payment processing, loan portfolio tracking, and rate review workflows. The implementation also included insurance and escrow tracking and customer correspondence capabilities, enabling loan servicing staff to process monthly and weekly payments, perform rate reviews, and generate letters and customer-facing communications within the Phoenix EFE environment.
Operational coverage focused on the loan servicing and customer service functions, with loan servicing analysts using Finastra Phoenix EFE for end to end servicing activities and portfolio maintenance. Governance was built around role based access and audit controls, and workflows were standardized to formalize booking, payment processing, insurance tracking, and periodic rate reviews to align operations with the Core Banking application.
