Octopia provisioned seller onboarding, catalogue management and marketplace operations as core modules of the Octopia Marketplace Ecosystem. Seller onboarding covered recruitment, account activation and initial product feed ingestion, while catalogue management addressed SKU mapping, category classification and content normalization consistent with eCommerce marketplace requirements. Marketplace operations provided ongoing merchant lifecycle controls and operational support for assortment maintenance and order lifecycle handling.
The technical integration linked CDON’s marketplace to Octopia’s integration layer and seller network, enabling feed or API-based product synchronization and inventory visibility across participating merchants. Operational scope centered on the Nordic markets and involved merchandising, catalogue management and merchant operations teams. The Octopia Marketplace Ecosystem centralized catalogue ingestion and seller management to streamline cross-seller assortment deployment.
Governance changes instituted standardized onboarding and catalogue governance workflows operated jointly by CDON and Octopia to accelerate seller time-to-market. The engagement drove expanded catalogue breadth and CDON reported GMV uplift tied to the marketplace assortment expansion. Ongoing operational responsibilities remained with CDON’s marketplace and merchant operations teams, supported by Octopia’s marketplace operations capability.
