In 2005, Cemex U.S. participated in the implementation of FIS GETPAID for AR Automation. The effort was executed as part of the CEMEX Way program during Post Merger Integration with Southdown, with a primary focus on harmonizing accounts receivable practices across United States operations.
Work centered on defining collection strategy and the initial setup of FIS GETPAID, including configuration of automated collections workflows, account segmentation, notification and escalation rules, and receivable aging parameters consistent with AR Automation functional patterns. The engagement included mapping collections processes into the application and establishing initial system administration settings to operationalize centralized collections activities.
Operational coverage targeted treasury, credit and collections, and finance teams in the United States, aligning procedures to the CEMEX Way operating model and consolidating post merger receivables governance. The implementation produced documented collections playbooks and initial governance for ongoing configuration and administration of FIS GETPAID.
