In 2008, CERDYS implemented Microsoft Dynamics NAV as its ERP Financial system to centralize operations and standardize processes across its manufacturing footprint. CERDYS adopted Microsoft Dynamics NAV as the ERP Financial backbone to support manufacturing operations, inventory control, order processing, and financial management across the group.
The implementation configured core ERP capabilities aligned to the ERP Financial category, including centralized finance ledgers, inventory and stock point management, order preparation workflows, and production control logic to support mass manufacturing while accommodating customer specification constraints. Microsoft Dynamics NAV was used to supervise preparation of 400 daily orders and to manage inventory across 1,500 stock points, providing a single transactional and master data model for order-to-fulfillment processes.
Deployment covered five production sites and a head office located in the West, with system scope extending to warehouse operations distributed over 15 hectares and to production scheduling that supports short lead time commitments. Isatech SAS acted as the system integrator and implementation partner, working closely with CERDYS consultants to advise on process design, future-state scenarios, and practical configuration choices that align the ERP to industry-grade production flows.
Governance and rollout emphasized close collaboration between CERDYS and Isatech SAS, with advisory engagements to refine requirements, validate production-oriented processes, and ensure the integrated management software fit operational reality. As reported by the project team, the Microsoft Dynamics NAV implementation delivered a homogeneous information system for five sites and the head office, centralized data to enable collaborative work, supported honoring orders on very short deadlines, and managed mass production while meeting customer specifications, a result CERDYS described as a 100% winning approach.
