In 2015, CGI implemented Oracle NetSuite ERP as its ERP Financial platform. The deployment centralized core financial management across corporate finance, accounting, billing and treasury functions, and targeted standardization of financial data models and consolidation workflows to support corporate reporting and statutory close.
Oracle NetSuite ERP was configured to run core modules including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets, cash management and revenue recognition, aligning with ERP Financial functional expectations. Configuration work emphasized chart of accounts rationalization, period close automation and configurable approval workflows to reduce manual reconciliation and streamline month end activities.
The technical architecture followed enterprise ERP Financial patterns, leveraging NetSuite configuration and customization capabilities to provide role based access controls, audit trails and extensibility. Integration interfaces were scoped to support interoperable financial feeds and data exchange using standard API and batch interface patterns common to large scale ERP Financial deployments.
Governance focused on centralized finance process controls, standardized approval workflows and formal configuration change management to maintain consistent financial processes across business units. Operational ownership was placed within corporate finance and accounting, with controls and auditability embedded in system configuration to support compliance and consolidated reporting.

In 2019, CGI implemented SoundHound Houndify AI Platform as a Cognitive Computing application to strengthen automation, monitoring, and incident handling across its global professional services footprint. The deployment was positioned to support more than 76,000 consultants and professionals across 400 locations and to focus on internal KPIs and proactive service operations.
SoundHound Houndify AI Platform was configured to operate as a virtual engineer responsible for incident resolution and ticket management, delivering end-to-end Level 0 and Level 1 incident resolution workflows. The implementation included intent recognition and automated resolution capabilities, and it scaled to more than 12,000 automated workflows while providing an 85% intent recognition and resolution rate and resolving 67% of incidents without human involvement.
The platform was used as a cognitive predictive analytics engine, running custom algorithms to forecast storage usage across customer environments and CGI’s internal data center, enabling more flexible capacity and rate models. Operational monitoring was extended to more than 30 distinct information systems, enabling proactive alerting and predictive resource utilization planning.
Governance and operational coverage spanned IT operations, service desk, and incident management functions across CGI’s 10 industry verticals and global sites, with rollout oriented toward automating routine ticket remediation and elevating human operators to higher value tasks. Proactive monitoring and automated remediation contributed to a reported 30% reduction in client outages, reflecting the platform’s impact on availability and operational resilience.
