Sage Legacy Sage 300CRE (ex Timberline) Construction ERP ERP Services and Operations n/a 2016 2016
In 2016, Charles Perry Partners implemented Sage 300CRE (ex Timberline) to consolidate payroll, project accounting, and financial workflows within a Construction ERP environment. The implementation targeted the firm’s finance, payroll, project management, procurement, and equipment operations teams at the 360 employee company operating in construction and real estate. Sage 300CRE (ex Timberline) was configured to run biweekly payroll using SAGE 300 Construction & Real Estate payroll capabilities, and to produce certified payroll reports for project managers. The system was used to process tax payments and benefits related transactions including 401K and HSA remittances and child support payments, with a structured review of general ledger recaps after each pay period and corresponding payroll journal entries. The deployment also covered project accounting and cost control, with projects and cost codes set up in Sage 300 for job costing and certified payroll alignment. Equipment inventory and monthly equipment billing were administered through the application, and purchase orders and contracts for rental equipment were handled within the same financial and procurement workflows. The company credit card program was managed operationally and transactions were imported into SAGE 300 to feed accounts reconciliation and month end processes. Operational governance centered on period close and compliance tasks, including preparation and submission of quarterly payroll tax returns, monthly sales tax reporting, and monthly insurance reconciliations. Routine month end journal entries were prepared from the system’s general ledger recaps, institutionalizing a cadence for payroll-to-financial close and for project manager reporting within the Construction ERP platform.

Egnyte Legacy Egnyte for Construction & Engineering Content Management Content Management n/a 2024 2024
In 2024 Charles Perry Partners implemented Egnyte for Construction & Engineering to centralize firm wide project content and enable secure collaboration across its construction and real estate operations. Egnyte for Construction & Engineering is deployed as a Content Management solution supporting project management and engineering workflows, and it serves as the primary content platform for Project Managers and AEC teams at the firm. The implementation leverages Egnyte's advanced Autodesk Construction Cloud integration, including selective sync capabilities that bring project files from ACC into Egnyte to reduce data silos and remove the need for duplicate document storage. Functional capabilities implemented include sensitive content identification, permissions auditing, a full content lifecycle view, and Egnyte's secure AI Copilot for content assistance and governance aligned to construction file types and document workflows. Integrations are explicitly centered on Autodesk Construction Cloud, enabling collaboration on design files through a familiar desktop interface while preserving centralized control in Egnyte. Operational coverage is firm wide, focused on project delivery phases from design through closeout, and aimed at reducing friction for field access to large files and for remote collaboration among architecture, engineering, and construction teams. Governance and process changes accompany the deployment, with content governance extended to ACC data, permissions auditing embedded in workflows, and Record Retention Policy enforcement to prevent accidental deletions. Company leadership reported time savings for Project Managers by eliminating multiple save locations and improved compliance through the new auditing and lifecycle visibility features.
