| Microsoft | Legacy | Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central | ERP Financial | ERP Financial Management | Technology Management | 2021 | 2022 | In 2021, Charlton & Jenrick implemented Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central as their ERP Financial system. The manufacturer of gas fires, electric fires and wood burning stoves configured the application to cover end to end operations from production planning through delivery, together with finance, warranty and service management. Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central was configured to manage production control, warehouse operations, inventory costing and core financials, while Dynamics 365 CRM was used to centralize warranty and field service case management. Microsoft Power Automate was layered across Business Central and Dynamics 365 CRM to automate order to cash touchpoints, service ticket routing and warranty claim workflows, aligning operational processes with financial postings. The implementation was delivered with Technology Management as the SI VAR, integrating Business Central, Dynamics 365 CRM and Power Automate into a single operational stack. Integrations linked manufacturing and warehouse transactions to finance and service records so that warranty and service events update customer and ledger data in Business Central. Governance emphasized cross functional ownership across production, warehousing, finance and service teams, with process automation used to reduce manual handoffs and enforce consistent warranty and service workflows. Implementing Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and Dynamics 365 CRM enabled Charlton & Jenrick to work smarter, automate more business processes and deliver the right products at the right time more efficiently. |
