In 2025 China Pacific Insurance Investment Management launched the eStable Money Market Fund on HashKey Chain. HashKey Chain is a permissioned Blockchain Platform developed by HashKey Group and was deployed to support tokenization of a U.S. dollar money market fund targeted at professional and institutional investors.
The implementation centered on token issuance and ledger services, using the PAC tokenization issuance platform as the issuance layer for fund tokens. HashKey Chain provided permissioning, role based access controls, and on chain token settlement capabilities to represent shares in the fund, while the fund structure retained exposure to U.S. dollar denominated short term fixed income and money market instruments.
Operational integrations included PAC as the tokenization issuance engine and Standard Chartered Bank for registration and fund administration services, aligning custody and regulatory workflows with the permissioned ledger. Deployment scope was managed by China Pacific Insurance Investment Management in Hong Kong and targeted institutional investor onboarding, consistent with compliance driven blockchain usage in Asia.
Governance kept fund registration and administration in established financial services channels, while token lifecycle management and access controls were executed on HashKey Chain. The launch secured $100 million in subscriptions on day one, and CPIC stated an intention to expand tokenization of traditional assets using compliance driven blockchains.
