In 2018, Chitian implemented Kingdee Constellation Cloud Create, a Manufacturing Execution System, covering PLM, ERP and MES to achieve 研产供销一体化 and shop-floor digitization across its China operations. The deployment targeted integration of product lifecycle, production planning and manufacturing execution capabilities to improve BOM and engineering-to-production collaboration.
Kingdee Constellation Cloud Create was configured to centralize PLM-driven BOM management, ERP order orchestration and MES shop-floor execution modules. Configuration work focused on single-car BOM compilation workflows, production order routing and engineering change propagation to maintain BOM consistency from design through manufacturing.
The implementation integrated PLM, ERP and MES data flows to shorten order-to-technical-solution cycles and enable near real-time shop-floor feedback loops. Operational coverage included engineering, production planning, shop-floor operators and coordination between supply and sales functions within Chitian's manufacturing footprint in China.
Governance changes aligned product engineering and production planning processes, instituting BOM stewardship and cross-functional workflow handoffs to support研产供销一体化. After deployment Chitian reported order-to-technical-solution conversion times reduced from 2 to 3 days to about 1 day, single-car BOM compilation time cut from hours to about 20 minutes, and overall shop efficiency up substantially according to the published case.
