Oracle Legacy Oracle NetSuite ERP ERP Financial ERP Financial Management n/a 2010 2010
In 2010, CHOICE Australia implemented Oracle NetSuite ERP as its ERP Financial system to centralize finance and subscriber management. The Oracle NetSuite ERP deployment created a single application platform that unified finance, subscriptions and operational reporting to provide real time visibility across print, online, mobile and tablet channels. The implementation configured core ERP Financial capabilities including recurring billing, revenue recognition, CRM linked subscriber management and media performance dashboards. NetSuite recurring billing capabilities were set up to manage billing across 180,000 subscribers and to handle multiple billing schedules for diversified product lines, while media performance dashboards monitor revenue, circulations, site visitors and marketing effectiveness. CHOICE integrated a payroll and employee portal solution delivered by NetSuite partner Infinet, using native integration between NetSuite and Infinet Cloud to automate data exchange. That integration removed manual imports from the previous Sage MicrOpay payroll inputs and saved one day each fortnight of payroll data entry, while providing a single view of each subscriber across platforms to support more efficient call center and customer support operations. Operational rollout included one to one employee training on the Infinet Cloud employee portal for CHOICEs 100 person staff, and centralized processes that replaced standalone finance and subscription databases which previously required extensive manual reconciliation. Since NetSuite went live CHOICE expanded its product lineup by 50 percent, subscriber retention improved by 3 percent due to seamless billing and automated email alerts, and financial reporting was accelerated saving 50 days per year that were redirected into innovation and customer service.
