In 2018, Circle K Indonesia implemented ShopeePay. ShopeePay was added as an additional Payment Processing option to support in-store checkout payments across the Jakarta Branch covering around 48 stores.
The technical work centered on POS level integration and payment terminal provisioning, configuring ShopeePay on electronic data capture terminals and aligning POS software settings with the new payment method. IT Support Staff served as field administrators responsible for stable operation of POS hardware, payment terminals, basic store networking, and CCTV maintenance during the rollout.
Rollout and operational governance were executed on-site by IT Support Staff in the Greater Jakarta Area, with responsibilities including field support, administrator duties, and ongoing store-level operational stability. Documented achievements from the implementation include provisioning an Access Point for guest Wi-Fi in store sitting areas and implementing additional payment EDC methods for Go-Pay, BNI Tap-Cash, ShopeePay, and LinkAja across the Jakarta Branch, demonstrating a broadened in-store Payment Processing capability to support store checkout and payments operations.
