Accela Legacy Accela Civic Platform Government ERP ERP Services and Operations n/a 2013 2013
In 2013, City of Lincoln, Nebraska implemented the Accela Civic Platform, a Government ERP application, to streamline and automate planning, permitting and business licensing and to move traditional counter-based services online. The deployment centered on cloud-enabled civic workflows with citizen-facing web access and mobile field capabilities to reduce in-person transactions at the Lincoln Development Services Center. The Accela Civic Platform implementation included Accela Mobile Office, Accela Citizen Access and Accela GIS to support permitting, licensing and field operations. Configuration emphasized online permit intake, electronic plan access and GIS-enabled record visualization, combined with mobile-enabled task assignment and real-time status notifications to field users. Operational coverage extended across the City of Lincoln Development Services Center and the local construction community, enabling inspectors and contractors to work from job sites. Field staff and construction industry professionals received mobile access to permits and notifications, allowing updates and communications to occur in real time without returning to city offices. Rollout included a beta testing phase that involved the construction community to validate workflows and strengthen agency relationships. According to Jim Walkenhorst, IS Project Supervisor with the Lincoln Development Services Center, "We have contractors out in the field. They can be out on a job site, and they can check with a smart device or an iPad. We have a number of contractors out there, and they have no paper, they are all electronic. Everything is in their trucks. That is how they do business. So, the big benefit is they get to stay out and do their work."

Aurigo Legacy Aurigo Essentials Project Portfolio Management PPM n/a 2019 2019
In 2019, the City of Lincoln, Nebraska implemented Aurigo Essentials, a Project Portfolio Management application. The city was cited by Aurigo as an early adopter and used Aurigo Essentials launch messaging to improve visibility into project activities and reduce delays for municipal infrastructure projects in the United States. Aurigo Essentials was deployed as a cloud based, full lifecycle project and portfolio tool aimed at smaller public agencies, leveraging the Aurigo Masterworks cloud platform for centralized hosting and portfolio oversight. The engagement focused on public sector capital project delivery rather than enterprise administrative functions. Implementation scope emphasized portfolio planning and document and field management modules as the primary functional capabilities, supporting planning, document control, field inspection workflows, and project lifecycle tracking across public works and capital projects. Operational coverage targeted municipal infrastructure programs within the City of Lincoln and the engineering and capital delivery business functions responsible for streets, utilities, and facility projects. Governance and rollout followed an early adopter model aligned to the Essentials launch, with configuration to surface project status, reduce handoff delays, and increase visibility into activity timelines. The narrative provided by Aurigo does not specify named prior systems or implementation partners.
