In 2021, the City Of Lincoln adopted GOGov Code Enforcement and the broader GOGov platform to standardize Citizen Requests/311, Code Enforcement, Citizen Notifications, and Online Permitting. GOGov Code Enforcement is applied as a Case Management solution across municipal workflows in Lincoln, Illinois, and is positioned to support case intake and lifecycle management for the city government.
The deployment configured functional modules for Citizen Requests/311, Code Enforcement, Citizen Notifications, and Online Permitting, enabling structured case tracking, permit application workflows, automated resident notifications, and consolidated case records. Configuration emphasized case lifecycle states, role based case assignment, document attachment and archive, and notification templates aligned to municipal service level expectations.
Operational coverage included the city departments responsible for permitting, code enforcement, and constituent services across the Midwest United States municipality. The platform is used to centralize citizen communication, route 311 requests into enforceable cases, and maintain a single case repository that supports cross departmental visibility and council reporting.
Governance and rollout followed a module by module adoption pattern documented in the vendor case study, with process adjustments to standardize permitting handoffs and case closure procedures. Since implementation the city reports faster citizen response, streamlined permitting workflows and improved reporting to City Council using GOGov’s integrated modules.
