| WorldPay | Legacy | Worldpay | Payment Processing | ERP | n/a | 2020 | 2020 |
In 2020, Claires implemented Worldpay for Payment Processing on its website. The deployment uses FIS Worldpay as the payment gateway embedded into the claires.com ecommerce checkout to handle online card acceptance and payment authorization.
The implementation focused on web checkout integration and payment orchestration, with configuration aligned to card processing, tokenization of cardholder data, and hosted payment fields to limit merchant PCI exposure. Worldpay was configured to support standard payment processing workflows and gateway routing consistent with Payment Processing requirements for retail ecommerce.
Operational integration centers on the claires.com checkout layer, where Worldpay connects transaction events to downstream order management and finance functions for settlement and reconciliation. The scope is ecommerce payments for the United States site, impacting ecommerce merchandising, payment operations, finance, and customer service workflows.
Governance was organized around centralized payment operations and gateway configuration ownership, with rollout concentrated on the public website checkout path. Documentation and checkout instrumentation were implemented to align operational teams with ongoing payment gateway management and compliance responsibilities.

| Workday | Ceridian Dayforce HCM | Workday HCM | Core HR | HCM | n/a | 2021 | 2021 |
In 2021, Claires implemented Workday HCM as its Core HR platform, replacing Ceridian Dayforce HCM for North America and addressing an outdated HCM footprint. The program was initiated to remedy a lack of automated HCM capabilities across European countries, inconsistent business rules and processes, limited reporting and analytics, and a complex integration landscape.
The implementation delivered Workday HCM and payroll capability across the U.S., Canada, Puerto Rico, 15 countries in Europe, and Hong Kong, with configuration focused on Core HR data model standardization, payroll processing, and dashboard reporting. Workday HCM configuration included consolidating business rules and process workflows to create consistent HR and payroll processes across regional boundaries, and scope explicitly included dashboard reporting to support go live visibility.
Integration scope was extensive, with Claires ensuring 45 integrations were delivered on time to support end to end testing, reflecting a multi-system orchestration approach across payroll and HR adjacent systems. The program supported the test lead with best practices and test phase management to validate integrations and business workflows prior to production cutover.
Program governance was centralized under a dedicated Workday Project Manager who managed all phases and delivery of the HCM program, working closely with program sponsors including the VP HCM Systems and the CHRO. Claires internal team leads of 10 were managed within the program structure to drive business process alignment and stakeholder engagement across HR, payroll, and regional operations.
As an explicit result the program successfully implemented Workday HCM and Payroll across the stated jurisdictions and coordinated dashboard requirements with Claires leadership to identify day one go live reporting. The implementation narrative ties Claires Workday HCM Core HR deployment to standardized processes, improved reporting scope, and an integration program validated through structured testing.

| Quadient | Legacy | Quadient Neopost IS-5000 | Mailing System | ERP Services and Operations | n/a | 2013 | 2013 |
In 2013, Claires implemented Quadient Neopost IS-5000 as a centralized Mailing System to support corporate mailroom and distribution operations. The Quadient Neopost IS-5000 Mailing System was positioned alongside an in-house print production environment rather than as a standalone retail POS tool.
The deployment operated within a combined print and mail workflow, where print production used Canon Image Press C10000VP, Image Press C800, Vario Print 110, and Pro 4000S Wide Format devices managed through Fiery Command Workstation and Prisma Prepare print management. Print Operator responsibilities explicitly included production of signage, planograms, and manuals for 1700 stores, and routine weekly color quality control and minor preventive maintenance to maintain print fidelity for those store collateral outputs.
Integration scope included direct mailroom use of FedEx shipping manager in tandem with the Quadient Neopost IS-5000, enabling coordinated parcel processing and carrier interfacing as part of outbound distribution. Operational coverage centered on corporate mailroom and print production functions supporting retail store replenishment and communications, impacting print production, store operations, and distribution workflows.
Governance and process detail emphasized operator-led print and mailroom orchestration, with standardized weekly QC and maintenance routines to ensure color consistency and operational uptime. The implementation aligned with typical Mailing System capabilities such as postage metering, postage accounting, and carrier integration, which underpinned the mail and parcel handling activities managed through the Quadient Neopost IS-5000.
