In 2017, Clover Network implemented DreamPay POS, a Point Of Sale application, to enable in-person payments on Clover smart terminals for merchants across North America. The deployment targeted retail and hospitality merchants operating on First Data’s Clover platform and emphasized device-based commerce on smart terminals.
DreamPay POS was configured to support core payment acceptance workflows and terminal-based sales capture, keeping transaction processing on the device while streaming sales records to back-office systems. The implementation included a QuickBooks integration to automate accounting reconciliation and deliver real-time sales posting, improving merchant reporting and bookkeeping efficiency.
Operational coverage centered on merchant-facing functions, specifically point of sale staff, merchant operations, and accounting teams that received reconciled sales data through the QuickBooks linkage. Architecturally the solution was device-centric, running on Clover smart terminals to preserve in-person payment flows and synchronize transactional data to bookkeeping systems.
Rollout across North America paired device provisioning for First Data’s Clover merchants with the QuickBooks bookkeeping integration as part of onboarding, aligning transaction capture with merchant reporting workflows. Governance focused on transactional data reconciliation and bookkeeping process automation, with the DreamPay POS and QuickBooks connection forming the core of that operational control model.
